Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Good reference for students and residents   July 15, 1998

This is a very comprehensive, technical text, and the authors' expertise is evident. Its chapters include malformations, inflammatory diseases, injuries, degenerative diseases, neoplasias and PNS diseases. Following the book requires some familiarity with general neuroanatomy and pathology, and is therefore most suited for advanced veterinary students or pathologists. Most pictures are useful and clear, and the extensive reference lists at the end of each chapter are valuable, although some are now outdated. This is the most comprehensive textbook of its kind, and no other book is comparable to this valuable reference. Reccomended in any veterinary pathologist's library, veterinary neurosurgeon or any veterinarian or student with a specific interest in neurology.
