| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Small Animal Diagnostic Ultrasound outlines the basic physical principles of ultrasound, as well as imaging artifacts and the use of ultrasonography, in a logical body-systems approach. This second edition is completely revised and up-to-date, detailing current developments in ultrasonography. Two completely new chapters on thoracic and musculoskeletal ultrasound, as well as revised coverage of cardiology, CT/MR, and the reproductive system make this edition even more useful and clinically relevant. Full-color illustrations and color Doppler images of abdominal organs enhance and clarify discussions in the text.

Invaluable practice reference July 29, 2000 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Nyland's Veterinary Diagnostic Ultrasound is an invaluable addition to my hospital library. I was initially introduced to this volume as a fourth-year Veterinary Student in Radiology/Ultrasound. After graduation, I made sure to purchase a personal copy for reference in private practice. It is filled with easy-to-understand illustrations of different imaging views of the heart and abdominal organs. I recommend keeping a copy of Nyland within easy reach of the clinic ultrasound for quick-reference during scans.
Veterinarians highly recomended me this book July 10, 2000 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
