indispensable guide to greens and my #1 cookbook November 4, 2008 E. Kagan (Brooklyn, NY USA) This smart cooking book stays on my kitchen shelf and I use it every day. You cannot find a better reference to green leafy vegetables. I have cooked about half of the recipes, and they are all great! I cannot wait to try more greens, and this book really inspires me. Buy it to improve your and your family's health and to become a better cook.
Make a glut a treat September 18, 2008 Mrs. Sally Larkham This book comes to the rescue when you're in danger of being overwhelmed by jungles of greenery in your garden! Many tasty alternatives to "pop in the pot and boil" for most greens you're likely (or not) to encounter.
This book is Wonderful August 17, 2008 Alma J. Hill Wow! This book has greatly increased my eating of greens and the ways to prepare them. I have given some of the recipes to my friends and they love it.
Fabulous! July 25, 2008 S. Carter (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In all my years as an Amazon shopper, this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. This is a great book. I have cooked numerous recipes and have been very impressed by all of them. In fact, she has a recipe for a meatloaf pinwheel that is the first meatloaf that I have ever liked. (There is a layer of kale and spinach that is rolled up with the meat. Delicious!) The doctors are recommending that everyone get more greens in their diet and this is a great way to do it. I just wish that I had found it years earlier.

Not only does this book have fantastic recipes, but it is a great tool for learning more about greens, how to prepare them, and how to come up with your own recipes.
