Excellent math review for vet techs! August 8, 2008 R. Hembree (Lone Wolf, OK) I love this book! It is so good. It clearly explains calculations that vet techs need to know. I am a vet tech studying to take the certification exam. This book helped me quite a lot with some of the math that was not explained as well in other books. I would difinitely recommend this book. It even has a chapter on anaesthesia applications, which was not very well covered in my other texts. Overall, a very helpful book that is well woth what I paid for it.

This book was recommended to me by Dr. Margi Sirois, who has a forward in this book. It covers basic fractions, decimals, scientific notation, dimensional analysis, sqc, anesthesia, constant rate infusions, oral medications, ratio and proportion, percentages and alot more.Small textbook written in easy to understand format. Also has word problems.Highly recommend to everyone even if you are or are not good at math. it is a must have in every techs library.
